I am a parking professional with over 32 years' experience in a number of local authorities, in consultancy and interim management.


In 2014 I was offered voluntary redundancy and since then I've met lots of new people and been involved in some very interesting and challenging work.


As well as the day job, I've been active in the British Parking Association, currently serving as Chair of the Professional Conduct and Scrutiny Panel. I am honoured to have been made a Fellow of the British Parking Association.


When not working in parking, I am a climbing instructor - see Steve Thompson Climbing - mostly working with groups of young people.
